I made it!

Day 3 (the 18th) drove to my sisters in VA  with a stop in NC to pick up clothes. Day 4 (the 19th) I went to Baltimore to visit some friends and pick up more clothes. I ended up staying in VA 2 days and left on Friday to take the long drive back to Buffalo with 2 malfunctioning GPS systems so I got lost. Not cool when taking back roads through random Pennyslvania towns. So now I'm here in Buffalo seeing family, gathering stuff, and getting ready for my trip! One week to go!

And the journey continues

Day 1 I drove to Savvannah to see my brother, my sister in law and my niece and nephews. Day 2 I drove to Augusta to hang out with my friend Alexis. Alexis and one of her friends gathered clothes for me to take to Guatemala. Thank you guys so much!!! Filled a duffel bag and I still have a small box of toys. My car is getting real full. Let's keep the donations coming. :-)

And off I go....well kind of

So today I begin my long journey back up to NY. My long cold-oh so cold- journey back to NY. Goodbye sun. Goodbye beaches. Goodbye warm weather. I know I will see you again...oh how I long for the day.
