Even thought I prepared weeks and weeks in adavance I still ended up doing a lot of things last minute. I can tell you one thing thought, my credit card salutes me. :-)

Today I ran around and got the last last minute things done. I also got a pedicure which made me really late and then ran back to my sisters house to shower and throw the rest of the things into a suitcase. My sister then drove me to Union Station so I could catch the MARC train to BWI (I leave out of BWI and return to DC). From the train station I took the shuttle bus to BWI. I had to take some things out of my carry, of course, because it was overweight. Good news is that my suitcase was underweight so I slipped somethings in there. I also must tell you I finally bought a hand held scale which my sister suggested I do after remarking "if your strong enough to lift the suitcase" which I can't remark on my lifting suitcase abilities just yet. Even with the luggage scale I only weighted my suitcase because I ran out of time to simply relax and slowly gather my thins like one is supposed to do...and now you know why my carry on was overweight because yes they weight it. I checked my bag easily and got my boarding pass (window seats!) and then I sat and waited and looked at how short the line was. 1 hour later the line was a bit longer but it only took 30 minutes or so to get through the line. I call that a win. I think BWI is a good airport to travel from due to the short wait time. Oh...and my plane got delayed an 1 and 15 minutes so yeah!
