Santiago Atitlan
I got into Guatemala City airport at 1:15pm and then changed my money into quetzal ( name of the money in Guatemala). I am sure I got ripped off at the airport but it was secure and I needed money. I then went through customs which was a breeze. They barley looked at my passport and didn't look through the luggage. I was picked up by Salvador and Frances who had been waiting for me for an hour. We packed all my luggage into the car and were off! It took over 3 hours to get to Santiago with traffic. We stopped once and ate. When we arrived I dropped my suitcases off at the house of Ricardo (the organizers house who works with the volunteer organization I will be working with in May). Ricardo's father remarked at how much stuff I had :-) but I told him most of it was donations. I and was then dropped off at my hotel. After getting in touch with everyone, showering, and watching a bit of tv in Spanish I went to sleep.

WOW the hotel kinda reminds me of Mexico or something! As long as it is clean that is all that matters!
