Afterwards I went back to the hostel and checked my email and tried to make plans for the rest of my vacation/trip. I gave up on my plans and went and cooked dinner. I ended up chatting with a guy named Dan. Dan asked where I was from and I told him Buffalo, assuming he wouldn't know where it was, and guess what, he did. He is actually from Rochester. So we spent a good while talking about life and travel. Then I went to bed.

Sunday...Election Day...Bad Day for Plans
So I had plans to head off to Juayua, a town on the flower route, for Sunday as everything else was closed. But of course they cancelled the food festival due to elections and buses were running weird today due to elections. I walked to the store and bought groceries so I could cook later in the hostel kitchen. I then washed my clothes in a washing machine and a couple by hand and hung them on the line to dry. Then I was thinking I would try my luck and make it to Juayua. I asked Carlos and he told me it wasn't such a good idea and maybe I should just go to the mall. So off I went to the mall. I took the bus and missed the stop by 2 or 3 stops. So I got off and began walking back down the street to the mall. I was hungry and bought some fruit in the street (bad I idea). I walked to the mall in maybe 20 minutes and walked around and was unimpressed. It's a mall! So grabbed a bite to eat and I left the mall. I decided to walk since I had nothing else to do. I ended up walking and figuring out where I was so I was able to see some sites.
