Bouquete Day 3

Today is my last day in Bouquete... and I am going to do a tour if it kills me!! I had decided last night and kind of this morning that I would try horseback riding. Now I am a little bit afraid of horses so I have never tried it as I know that horses sense fear. However, I decided that I would be trying it on this trip at some point. I got up and made breakfast and then got ready to go. I first walked to the hostel to ask them if they were offering the tours. The guy called the guy that does the tours but he didn't answered so he told me to wait. I ended up waiting too long so I missed my opportunity to go on the tour with the other companies (they also had horseback riding tours at 9:00 am but it was more expensive). However, the guy at the hostel finally got in touch with the guy who does the tours and they told me he would come at 9:30 am. So I waited until 9:30 am until I got picked up. He drove me to a farm and helped me mount the horse. We then went on a ride for about 1.5 to 2 hours. Now my horse didn't listen very well. It kind of did its own thing. It didn't like when I tried to lead it. It was also greedy. It kept trying to stop to eat. At times it would stop walking to eat. But overall it was good. It was just me and the guide and the landscape was beautiful. I enjoyed riding the horse but at times it was a little scary going up and down hills... especially since the horse didn't listen that well. We returned to town and I went to my hostel and took a nap. The rest of the day I spent lazing around, packing, and watching shows. Later in the afternoon I went to a café to work on my blog. I worked on my blog for a couple hours and had a hot chocolate and cake. I left close to 8 pm and went back and fixed myself dinner. Then I relaxed for the rest of the night and played on the internet before going to bed. Tomorrow I make my trip from Costa Rica to Nicaragua. Tomorrow will be no fun!!!
