I woke up
today and I feel no different. I feel exactly the same. Also I have decided I
am not getting any older and I am going to Benjamin Button it and get younger.
So today I am going back to being 25 years old J.Last night it rained all night and then rained into early in the
morning. So I am not sure what kind of day it is going to be. I finally got up,
showered with hot water (a luxury that you don’t even know), and got dressed. I
then went to find a place to eat and see if I could find the random guy from yesterday’s
tour place. I walked around for a little bit and was walking past a restaurant when
I saw the 2 girls I had met in Monteverde, Costa Rica sitting in the restaurant.
I went in, and yes it was them. So I sat down and started chatting with them.
They had just come to Boca this morning and had just arrived. They didn’t have
a place to stay yet. So after we ate we went and looked for a place. In the end
they decided to stay at the place I was at as it was reasonably priced and has
water. After they got their room we went and looked for tours and things to do.
We found a random guy (we will call him random guy 2) on a bike that brought us
to his tour place. We finally decided to do a tour of Zapatilla island tomorrow
and decided we would try to go to red frog beach today. We told random guy 2 we
would come back at 2pm.We went back to
the hostel to rest for a little bit and get ready. Not long after we arrived at
the hostel it began to rain. I talked with my family who wished me happy
birthday and watch a show. At 2pm it was still raining so we decided to wait
until it was done raining. It stopped raining closer to 3 pm. We decided we
would still try to go to the island. So we walked to the tour office of random
guy 2 but he wasn’t there. So we went to one of the docks and asked the cost to
go to red frog beach. It was $10 a person which wasn’t too bad so off we went.
We paid $3 to enter the island beach area and then we went to the restaurant to
eat. After we ate we hung out at the beach for a couple hours before heading
back. Red frog beach is nice enough. It has some clear water but it had way too
many people. We took the boat back and went back to the hostel. We ate some
fruit and then went our separate ways to rest and decided to meet up at 9:30 pm.
During this time I watched some shows and relaxed. I got up around 8:30 and got
ready to go. We met up on the balcony and went to find some place to eat. Now
Bocas is supposed to be a party town but I don’t think it is. I mean there weren’t
that many people out. When I think of a party town I think of craziness. But
that was not the case. Anyways we found a pizza place to eat and then went to a
discoteca. It is supposed to be one of the best spots on the island but it was
okay. They played some mix of music of Spanish reggae Caribbean mix, reggae,
merengue, Bachata and such. I think it is a good local spot as the locals
really seemed to like it. I just like to watch different people do the
different dances like Bachata and Merengue. We stayed out pretty late. I would
have liked to have left earlier but it had begun to rain and it was raining
pretty hard. We walked back to the hostel sometime early in the morning. I was
so tired and we had to get up early for our tour tomorrow…ughh…
